Design and realization of the interior of the entrance of a new apartment building in Huizen (The Netherlands). The building was built in the style of the Amsterdamse School, the entrance is marked as a modern interpretation by applying contemporary lighting. Elements such as stained glass provide the monumental character already. On the groundfloor was chosen for a combination of bluestone inlaid with an oak trim as it was often used in ancient granito. The outdoor area is included. Here has been chosen adapt the design of the building in the garden. The characteristic brick garden walls and planters combine well with the building and in the front yard there is place for a work of art. If the front door of the apartment building would be open you create a sight line from the beginning of the front yard to the back yard.
