For a villa in Huizen (The Netherlands) was asked to create an interior design for the ground floor. Only the current floor should be preserved. As a starting point there is chosen for a human scale. The large living / dining room is divided into separate spaces and dining room and the kitchen are been connected to create a large kitchen. The design is based on natural materials. Lots of oak wood which contrasts with the marble floor. There is also chosen to give the living room a totally different color perception than the kitchen. This emphasizes the distinct nature of both areas.
