A design for the interior of an apartment in building ‘Solids’ at IJburg (Amsterdam). It is in this design that all features of the apartment are integrated into a self-contained unit. This furniture is recognizable by the lowered ceiling which is in the area applied. There is a very clear separation because  all the walls inside stop on the same line in front of the windows. By applying this it creates a passage around the piece of furniture. There is a clear separation used as rear wall. This separation runs through the entire apartment and it is also integrated into the cabinet. The apartment is designed for a recently cohabiting couple. She works outside the city area and they seek refuge within the city for entertainment. She works in a space at home and there is a guest room available for guests.
